The Open-Source at Oxford Initiative has now launched. This initiative is part of the work of Digital Scholarship at Oxford (DiSc), and led by Research Software Engineers in the DiSc team. This initiative has been established with the goal of building community around researchers and developers, to use and share and develop projects beyond their initial development periods.
Projects will be published on the initiative’s GitHub space, and the DiSc team will work to connect those responsible for the projects to new collaborators, whether they are developers or researchers. Our hope it that this collaborative work will help these projects achieve greater sustainability, impact, and a wider reach through publicising this work.
